Barrelhouse Brawl pounds, plucks and blows hot blues, hokum, and primitive New Orleans-style jazz. Heroes include Louis Armstrong, Milton Brown and Big Bill Broonzy. The band is based in Washington, DC, and performs throughout the Metropolitan area. From a platform of washboard and bass, a barrelhouse piano and blues harmonica support the classic jazz trinity of trumpet, trombone, and clarinet. It is available as a duet, trio, quartet, quintet, sextet, or septet (to fit your budget).
